About an hour before your treatment, we will place a topical numbing ointment on your face. This will reduce uncomfortable sensations during your procedure. The Halo™ handpiece also delivers very cold air to your face during the treatment to optimize your comfort. Most patients describe the treatment as warm with occasional prickling sensations. Your face will be divided into treatment sections, and the laser parameters are customized just for you. The 5 sections of your face will be marked and then treated by rolling the Halo™ handpiece in various patterns across your skin until the desired energy is delivered.
