The Bottom Line: What You Need to Know About the Brazilian Butt Lift
Do you struggle with a flat booty? Give your bottom a boost with a Brazilian Butt Lift. This popular cosmetic surgery procedure can transform your backside and help you discover the curves you’ve always wanted. Do you desire a perkier butt?
Many patients mistakenly believe that a Brazilian Butt Lift is only for women who want to make an extreme change to their bottom (think Kim Kardashian), but this isn’t true. The procedure can be used to provide subtle, natural looking enhancements, too. If you want to add volume and help lift the butt, this procedure might be what you’re looking for. Dr. Reid and Dr. Gordon are well known for their natural looking results.
What Is a Brazilian Butt Lift?
A Brazilian Butt Lift is a transformation for your backside. We combine SAFELipo with micro fat grafting to create round, full, lifted buttocks. The procedure is two-part. First, we use liposuction to gently harvest fat from areas where you have extra. Then the fat is processed and the isolated fat grafts are re-injected into the buttocks. This procedure can correct flatness, mild sagging, disproportion, and many other aesthetic issues with the buttocks. Although Kim K. desired increased width and projection of her buttocks, most of our patients desire more projection and not necessarily more width.
We Focus on the Body, Not Just the Booty
At Restora Austin, we do Brazilian Butt Lifts a bit differently. We see the body as a whole and believe that the best aesthetic Brazilian Butt Lift results occur when we treat the entire area around the buttocks and not just the buttocks themselves. Our Brazilian Butt Lift is a 3D procedure. We will enhance the entire area, often making changes to the back, flanks, hips and outer thighs to essentially “frame” the buttocks. The end result is a 3D transformation and a gorgeously transformed backside.
What’s Recovery Like After a Brazilian Butt Lift?
Recovery from a Brazilian Butt Lift takes a few weeks. You’ll initially experience some bruising, swelling, and soreness. You will need to avoid sitting right after surgery (wait until you have permission from your surgeon before you sit on your bottom). You can resume strenuous exercise about six weeks post-op.
