You will see initial results 2-5 days after your treatment, but your skin will continue to improve over time. Remember, the Halo™ is a hybrid laser, so in most cases, we use both the ablative and nonablative components. The ablative technology removes the top layers of the skin, so after your skin peels, you will notice immediate improvement in the reflectivity and surface appearance of your skin. Since superficial and dermal pigment is also targeted, most patients see the greatest pigmentary improvement in the first 2-3 weeks. The non-ablative technology targets the deeper layers of the skin, where dermal regeneration and collagen production occur, so the results of this phase are seen weeks later and continue to improve for months after the treatment.
